Today was our first day of ministry. Our first stop was at Living Hope's Recovery Center. I had the privilege of sharing a word of encouragement and share about the hope we have in Jesus. We then took around 25 of the clients out to lunch at a nearby restaurant. It was great to learn more about their lives.
Then in the afternoon we hosted two Christmas parties for Living Hope children's Bible club award winners for one of the townships. We played games and got to love on 100 plus youth.
After eating a wonderful dinner of antelope stew (me) and Chicken schnitzel (Hollie) we came back and packed over 500 gift bags for the upcoming parties.
Due to very strict privacy laws we were not allowed to take any photos of the events. Needless to say we are all very happy but tired.
